My time at Bramley Baths has been nothing short of eye opening. The inner workings of a pool dating back to 1904 has fascinated me all week.

How the filter system works, how the pool is classified and how the Baths are run have really inspired me.

But the part of my work experience I have enjoyed the most is the sense of community throughout the building. This does not just include the staff that have been kind to me over the week but the Baths’ regulars who make up the community feel.

This week has gone by in a flash.

The amount of work I have done has been overwhelming at times, but that is not a bad thing because it has enabled me to see how every cog in the machine that makes Bramley Baths works, how everyone has a part to play, even the customers.

In the short span of time that I have worked, the Baths my knowledge has grown tenfold and I believe I could not have learnt the skills that I have this week anywhere else other than at this iconic community business.

From the bottom of my heart, to everyone I have met I wish to give a great big thank you.
